Format
Key Responsibilities;
 Provide engineering support to ensure the safe, reliable, and fault-free operation of plant
and equipment
 Assist with the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of machinery and equipment
 Support fault diagnosis and problem-solving activities
 Identify and contribute to improvements in efficiency and cost-effectiveness
 Attend regular external training sessions and apply learned knowledge within the workplace
 Commit fully to personal development by engaging in all in-house and external training
opportunities
 Maintain strict adherence to all Health and Safety procedures and company standards
 When on Site and as required, undertake the Casting break cover clamping operator role
Monday – Friday (inclusive)

40 hours Monday to Friday
Previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment is desirable.
 Basic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical engineering principles.
 Strong commitment to Health & Safety.
 Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
 Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
 Desire to develop into a fully qualified Shift Technician.
 The role will initially be Monday to Friday during the training phase; however, as skills and
experience develop, shift working will gradually be introduced in line with the full Shift
Technician role requirements
Must have grade 4 or above in maths and English GCSE or equivalent
